Normal fracturing operations
require that the fluid be viscosified to help create the
fracture in the reservoir and to carry the proppant into
this fracture. After placing the proppant, the viscous fluid
is then required to “break” back to its native state with
very little viscosity so it can flow back out of the well,
leaving the proppant in place.

J4 Oilfield Service maintains in its inventory
larger sized high-pressure triplex pump units. We have
three different sizes ranging from 2 ¾ bbls. per minute max output
to our largest pump unit which has a maximum out of 17 bbls. per
minute. All pumps are equipped with a 20 bbl. divided mixing tank
with two centrifugal pumps to allow blending pills, sweeps, foams or
other designs of well bore fluids as dictated by the customer.
